CCPA Privacy Notice for California Residents
Vantage Leads
Effective Date: July 31, 2026 Last Reviewed: July 31, 2026This Privacy Notice for California Residents (“CCPA Notice”) supplements our main Privacy Policy and applies exclusively to California residents (“consumers” or “you”). It is provided in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”). Capitalized terms used in this notice have the meanings given in the CCPA/CPRA or in our main Privacy Policy, available at https://vantage-leads.com/privacy-policy/.
Vantage Leads is a lead generation company. We generate consumer inquiries through our own websites, landing pages, and advertising campaigns, and we deliver those inquiries in real time to businesses that purchase them — such as roofing, solar, window, HVAC, remodeling, moving, real estate, and mortgage companies. Because we receive payment when a consumer inquiry is delivered to a purchasing business, that transfer is treated as a “sale” of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. This notice explains what that means for you and how to opt out.
Overview of Your CCPA/CPRA Rights
California law gives residents specific rights regarding their personal information, including the right to know what is collected, the right to delete it, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing, the right to limit how sensitive personal information is used, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Vantage Leads does not penalize you for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality solely because you have asserted a CCPA/CPRA right (except as permitted through clearly disclosed financial incentive programs that you choose to participate in).
Categories of Personal Information We Collect, Disclose, and Sell or Share
During the past twelve (12) months, we have collected, disclosed, and sold or shared the following categories of personal information, as defined under the CCPA/CPRA:

Code § 1798.80(e) | Project information including repair or installation needs, type of service, project scope, timeline, budget range, homeownership status, property type and condition | Routing your inquiry to the right industry and service area, eligibility evaluation, lead quality review, internal analytics | Recipients: purchasing businesses, service providers. Sources: directly from you, generated internally |
| Internet or other similar network activity | Pages visited, browsing history on our properties, referral sources, clickstream activity, browser and operating system info, time and date of access | Site improvement, campaign analytics, attribution, personalization, marketing optimization | Recipients: analytics providers, hosting providers, advertising platforms. Sources: automatic collection |
| Geolocation data | Approximate location derived from IP address or the service address you provide | Personalization, fraud prevention, routing your inquiry to a business serving your area | Recipients: purchasing businesses, service providers. Sources: directly from you, automatic collection |

We do not collect additional categories or use personal information for materially different purposes without first providing updated notice. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as precise geolocation, government identifiers, health data, or financial account numbers, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit under the CPRA.
Information Excluded from “Personal Information”
For purposes of this notice, personal information does not include:
- Publicly available information from government records.
- De-identified or aggregated consumer information.
- Information excluded from the CCPA’s scope, such as health or medical information governed by HIPAA or the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, or certain sector-specific data.
We may also disclose personal information when responding to lawful requests, complying with applicable law, or protecting our rights, the rights of others, or safety.
Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
When you submit a quote request or inquiry on one of our properties, we disclose your information to a business that can respond to that request, and we receive payment for that delivery. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this is a “sale” of personal information. Our use of advertising, attribution, and analytics technologies may additionally constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Unless disclosed otherwise at the point of collection, each consumer inquiry is sold to a single purchasing business on an exclusive basis. Businesses that receive your information are contractually required to use it only to respond to the request you submitted, to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Do Not Call rules, and applicable privacy laws, to honor your opt-out requests, and are prohibited from reselling or redistributing it.
During the past twelve (12) months, we have sold or shared the categories of personal information described in the table above with purchasing businesses, service providers, and advertising and analytics vendors in connection with the operation of our lead generation service.
Because inquiries are delivered within seconds of submission, an opt-out or deletion request received after submission will stop our future sale or sharing of your information, but cannot recall information already delivered to a purchasing business.
Your Rights Under the CCPA/CPRA
1. Right to Know and Data Portability
You may request that we disclose the categories of personal information collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for which it was collected, the third parties with whom it was shared, and the specific pieces of personal information collected. You may also request two separate lists — one identifying any sales or sharing of your personal information and another identifying business-purpose disclosures — covering the preceding twelve (12) months.
2. Right to Delete
You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions — such as completing a transaction, complying with legal obligations, security or debugging activities, exercising free speech, supporting research, or carrying out internal uses reasonably aligned with your relationship with us. Records documenting your consent to be contacted may be retained where necessary to comply with or defend against claims under telemarketing law.
3. Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information. We honor valid opt-out requests, including those communicated through Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) browser signals. After an opt-out, we will not ask you to re-authorize sale or sharing for at least twelve (12) months. For consumers under sixteen (16) years of age, we do not sell or share personal information without affirmative opt-in consent (parental consent is required for those under thirteen).
4. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
You may direct us to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information — such as precise geolocation — to what is necessary to perform the services you have requested. As noted above, we do not currently use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right.
5. Right to Correct
You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, where applicable.
6. Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you have exercised any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We may, however, offer financial incentives that are reasonably related to the value of your personal information, provided we obtain your prior opt-in consent and clearly disclose the terms.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a verifiable consumer request, contact us by email at info@vantage-leads.com or by phone at 615-882-1127.
Only you, or someone you have legally authorized to act on your behalf, may submit a request. To process your request, we may need to verify your identity using information you provide — typically name, email, phone number, and address — without using that information for any other purpose. You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request. Requests to know are limited to two per twelve-month period per consumer.
We aim to respond to verifiable requests within forty-five (45) days. If we need more time, we will inform you in writing and may extend the response period by an additional forty-five (45) days. Where applicable, we will deliver portable information in a readily usable format. We do not charge a fee unless a request is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link available on the Site, or send a Global Privacy Control signal through your browser. Confirmation of your opt-out will be provided through an on-Site indicator or other appropriate method.
Additional California Rights
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents may request information once per calendar year about disclosures we have made of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please email us at info@vantage-leads.com.
Updates to This Notice
We may update this CCPA Notice periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with the new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised notice.
